A humble shop in the heart of Pateros, built on passion, practice, and pride in the craft.
Good Hand Tattoo opened its doors in the heart of Pateros, Metro Manila in 2011 — a small, unpretentious shop with one clear intention: to make tattoos that last. Over fourteen years, that mission has never changed.
What began as a single studio has grown into a creative home for artists who take their craft seriously. The team at Good Hand Tattoo draws from a wide range of traditions — Filipino and Asian cultural heritage, American Traditional flash, Japanese and Oriental styles, Blackwork, and fully custom commissions — unified by a shared commitment to technical discipline.
The studio earned its Facebook community of over 41,000 followers not through trends, but through consistency. Every piece that leaves Good Hand carries the same standard that has defined the shop from day one: solid lines, clean fills, and ink that ages with dignity.
Three principles that guide everything that happens inside our studio.
We are not chasing whatever is popular this week. Every artist at Good Hand is grounded in the technical foundations of tattooing — understanding color theory, skin, line weight, and longevity. Style serves craft, not the other way around.
Filipino cultural tattoo traditions — Babaylan art, indigenous patterns, the mythology of Bathala, Mayari, and Lakambini — are treated with reverence and research. We do not render culture as decoration. We render it as living heritage.
The best tattoos come from genuine conversation between artist and client. We listen carefully, push back when something won't work on skin, and invest our creative energy into pieces that clients will carry with pride for the rest of their lives.
Clean lines, consistent fill, crisp contrast — these are not bonuses, they are the baseline. Every tattoo that leaves our studio must meet the same standard of technical execution.
We tattoo for the long term. Ink choice, depth, and technique are all calibrated so that your piece looks great not only on day one, but for decades to come.
We actively celebrate Filipino cultural heritage through our art — from pre-colonial mythology to indigenous geometric traditions — keeping these stories alive in ink.
Doesn't matter if it's a Sauron gauntlet, a Turnstile flash panel, a Pokemon, or an ancestral warrior goddess — we bring the same creative seriousness to every concept.
Good Hand has always been and will always be a Pateros studio. We are part of this community and we take that responsibility seriously, one tattoo at a time.
